The Blightwood
The Blightwood is a stretch of forest between The Temple of Power and Klippika village. The first party to reach Klippika camped at the edge of this forest and were attacked in the middle of the night by Twig Blights, small vicious plant-creatures which looked like animated twig homunculi. There is a hatch inside it which, when unlocked by a blue bolt, leads to some Builder Tunnels. That hatch had the Builder runes for 'change-way' and 'threshold' on it.
Near to the hatch was the Blightwood Growing Ritual Circle which seemed to grow Shambling Mounds. Eeep!
According to the elves at Klippika village, the forest is under the malign influence of a Cursed Tree at its centre.
There is a small hut in the Blightwood which can be used for shelter. It once contained camping equipment and had a small stash of gold coins beneath it's floorboards.
