Myconid Settlement

Beneath The Blightwood on the Plains lies a vast cavern containing the ruins of a Builder settlement. Many of the walls are collapsed, but lights were seen through any windows that remain. High in the ceiling is a gargantuan silver glowing tree.

This ruin has been populated by Myconids. The air is filled with glittering gold which appears to be flammable but doesn't seem to immediately cause harm. It does emit however, a mild aura of transmutation magic

In the largest building are a number of crumbling and fungus covered builder skeletons and a number of consoles and devices. One of the devices is active and was a container covered in pipes and appeared to be the source of the glittering gold material that was coating the settlement and tunnels. The device had the Glyphs on of 'life stuff', 'change material, 'tiny servants' and we theorise that it is this which created and sustained the tree and the Myconids. There are other inactive devices here with blue and yellow bolts.

The Myconids settlement seemed to have an antagonistic relationship with the Goblins who they called "Fire people" and came from the tunnel marked 'big cart'. It is suspected this is Qaratta as this may be the nearest known goblin settlement, and we know they have Elemental Crossbows. To prevent attacks, the Myconids caved in the Big Cart tunnel in the Builder Tunnels
