Waldo Statues
The Waldo Statues are large stone figures made of an unidentified blue stone. They appear life-like in most respects, and seem to be built to resemble the Builders except for the fact that their faces are entirely blank save two empty eye sockets.
The statues are designed to be remotely operated by a worker sat at a Remote Working Station. When the worker operates the Waldo Statue, their consciousness is transferred to the statue's body and their face replaces the blank face of the statue. Disturbingly, the operator's own face is rendered blank and featureless while they operate the Waldo, though incredibly this does not appear to cause any harm.
Waldo Statues have been found in the lowest floor of The Temple of Power and in the main chamber of The Temple of Healing. A detached Waldo head was also found in the workshop of the Temple of Healing during an initial visit by explorers from The Valley
