An ancient King of the now fallen Empire of Sesseran.
He was a good King, but 'turned bad' when he 'started poking around in strange technologies and magical devices'. Heskeron betrayed his councillors (The Martyrs) and murdered them at the top of the mountain (Presumably at Heskaron's Tower)
Heskeron was searching for eternal life and found it, after a fashion. His spirit lives in the tower; he’s cursed to wander the mountain top and has done so for 1200 years.
We believe his queen to be Moranna of Harmenor (based on the statues discovered at Heskaron's Tower), we believe this to be the same Moranna who is the great-great-grandmother of Queen Merielle. This would go a long way to explaining Merielle's apparent distate of dark sorceries and distrust of builder ruins.
