A trail which runs up the mountains behind The Citadel. It begins near The Fringes. It leads through a northern gate into the city.

It is hard packed stone and dirt surrounded by scree and scrubby plants.

After 30-45mins of winding track up the mountain the path levels out, cresting to a loosely forested plateau with lots of moss and stone piles. The trees are small and stunted growing in what small amounts of soil is found here. "The Moss Wood".

There is a good view here. Directly south you can see a rocky outcrop with stone towers on, the city of Sinyataras and south east you can see lake Sakera

There is a small stream near here, running down the mountainside but it isn't visible from the trail.

2 hours further along the trail the path splits. Left heads to The Quickglimmer. The right have leads further up into the mountains where there are hunting grounds and caves. You can see a tower from here in the distance on a peak. It might be Heskaron's Tower.

Heading left, the going becomes more difficult being more rocky and requires some scrambling. 30mins of scrambling reveals to the west a fissure opening in the rock. A jagged zigzag crack in the cliffs with a smell of ozone: The Quickglimmer.
