These are sentry robots created by the Builders, and named "Guardians" by Tagariel. They are made of a blue-grey metal and have three arms and six scuttly spider legs. They are equipped with three spears and can project a cone of light that temporarily blinds its target.
Guardians contain blue and orange Bolts, which can be recovered from them after they have been defeated. They are about 5ft in size.
Blood Guardians
We have discovered the remains of larger version of these in Heskaron's Tower. These appear to be about 10ft.
The large ones are covered in Black and Blue Bolts and have golden elvish script on them. They appear to be tampered with builder constructions.
The script is: Grow strong, drink deep of life in the name of our queen
They shoot rays from the black bolts that make their targets feel cold and nauseous and deal necrotic damage. When damaged they ooze blood out of the housing which have the bolts in. (Ugh!). It also has a sonic attack.
The one we defeated in Heskaron's Tower has 6 black and 6 blue bolts.
