The Children of Asteri are an elven culture who follow a different path to the elves at [[Klippika]].

Uthariel, the ancient elf bard of Klippika, related the tale of the Children of Asteri to Dramble and Aila on the return journey from [[Taurtaikatanur]]. She said that the Children of Asteri were a rival sect of elves, who also travelled from across the [[Southern Sea]] in Queen Moranna's time. Uthariel described them as wicked elves who played with powers which should not have been meddled with. According to the tales from Klippika the Children of Asteri were eventually banished to a distant city in the east.
