One of the few people associated with the [[Guild of the White Wolf|Guild of the Wolf]] without elven ancestry, Roald Heftriss is a human tracker and hunter in his early to mid forties.

He led the expedition to [[Black Crag]] to rid the mountain of a nest of dragon wyrmlings, along with Pebble (a Kenku cleric), Falling Leaf (a Tabaxi warrior) and five adventurers from the valley ([[Aila]], [[Dramble]], [[Kallista]], [[Newt]] and [[Xyrxina]]).
